A free Helium 10 alternative for one job

Updated

Shelfverdict is free for a go, maybe or no-go on the Amazon search page you have open. It is not a full suite: it has no keyword research and no listing tools. It suits a quick read of a niche before you pay for anything bigger.

Free, no account, no cap on verdicts.

What you get for free

Search for a product on Amazon and Shelfverdict stamps the page Go, Maybe or No-go. It runs five checks on the top ten organic results and shows each with its limit, so you can disagree with it.

Results are tagged sponsored or organic with their rank, and a fee and margin sheet sits beside them. It works on amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .it, .fr and .es.

What it lacks

Everything a suite is for. There is no keyword research, no listing tools and no tracking beyond what Pro keeps on your computer. The FBA fee is typed in by you. Helium 10 is a large product, and its pricing page lists tiers for businesses at different sales levels, plus a Free plan with limited extension access. If you run an established catalogue and want research, listing and ads tools under one login, a suite is the reasonable choice.

Where a verdict fits

Before you open a suite, you often just want to know whether a search page looks winnable. The verdict answers that in a second, and it names the check that failed. If the answer is promising, take the idea into deeper research with whichever tool you use. If it says No-go for a clear reason, you saved the subscription time.

Cost

Verdicts are free. Pro keeps product history, saves niches, exports the competitor table as CSV and adds local sales estimates marked est. It costs €39 a year or €79 once, as one-time passes that do not renew. Shelfverdict keeps growing from seller feedback, and the roadmap page takes suggestions.

Questions

Is there a free Helium 10 alternative?

For one job, yes. Shelfverdict gives a free go, maybe or no-go on the Amazon search page you have open, with no account and no cap on verdicts. It is not a suite and has no keyword research or listing tools.

What does Shelfverdict not do that Helium 10 does?

It has no keyword research and no listing tools. It reads only the page on your screen. The FBA fee is typed in by you, and sales estimates are a Pro feature, marked est.

How much is Helium 10?

Its pricing page shows $99 and $129 figures for the Platinum plan, so check which billing each belongs to, and says Chrome extension access on the Free plan is limited (read on 6 October 2026). Shelfverdict Pro is €39 a year or €79 once.

Is a verdict the same as product research?

No. A verdict is a rule-of-thumb read of one search page. It does not say a product will sell or fail.
